On June 1, some of the main actors in the national oncology ecosystem met (clinical centres, research institutions, oncology registries, patient associations, and authorities) with the aim of promoting convergence, coordination, and the identification of synergies between the different initiatives underway in Portugal. This session took place in parallel with the Consortium meeting of the European CANDLE project, locally coordinated by BRU-Iscte researcher Henrique Martins, allowing for the creation of direct points of contact between the national agenda and the European dynamics of the consortium, enhancing synergies between the two meetings.

The meeting was organised by BRU-Iscte’s competence centre BRU_DHI: Digital Health International and AICIB – Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation Agency.
