Biography

Maria Helena André served as Director of the ILO Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV). She held senior positions including Minister of Labour and Social Security of Portugal, Deputy General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation, and Member of the Portuguese Parliament in four parliamentary committees (European Affairs; Social Security and Labour; Implementation of the International Troika programme; Enquiry Committee on Swaps).

Director of Property Services & UNI Care at UNI Europa
Biography

Mark Bergfeld is the Director of Property Services & UNI Care at UNI Global Union Europa, coordinating EU sectoral social dialogue in cleaning, security, personal services, and care. He supports European Works Councils and negotiated the first global labour rights agreement in healthcare and created the PHS Employment Monitor. He maintains research and teaching links with Queen Mary University of London and Cornell University.

Biography

Renee Laiviera is Commissioner and Acting Executive Director of NCPE Malta. She has held senior management roles in the Malta Public Service and has extensive experience in gender equality policy at national and European levels. Ms Laiviera is an independent member of the Council of Europe's European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) and serves on the EU Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men.

Biography

Susana Abad de las Heras served as Labour and Social Security Inspector, with a long career in the National Office for the Fight against Fraud, and currently is the Deputy Director General of New Forms of Employment and Labour Market Foresight at the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.

Sara Ramos is an Associate Professor and Integrated Researcher at Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon, teaching and researching in the areas of Work Psychology, Health and Safety at Work, and Organisational Behaviour.
