The BRU-Iscte Seed Funding aims to encourage the submission of innovative proposals from early-career researchers who are integrated or associated members of BRU-Iscte or students enrolled in one of BRU-Iscte’s doctoral programmes.

The competition will start in 2026 and is open to submissions on a permanent basis, with four evaluation moments until the end of 2027. Each evaluation moment will consider applications as follows: 

• First round submissions (closed) Results Round 1
• Second round submissions open until November 15, 2026
• Third round submissions open until June 15, 2027
• Fourth round submissions open until November 15, 2027
