The final edition of the WISE-AI newsletter marks the project’s completion, showcasing its key outcomes—such as the learning portal and Minecraft educational game—while emphasising its impact in promoting digital skills and inclusive youth participation in artificial intelligence.
The project WISE-AI: Fostering young women’s employability by promoting Sustainable Development Goals through Artificial Intelligence, began in April 2024 with the aim of developing an innovative approach to help young women (aged 15–29) explore their entrepreneurial skills and abilities related to the field of AI and bridge the gap between inclusion and equality, as well as to encourage innovation and the sustainability of the SDGs, within a fun, engaging and positive environment. The project’s outputs combine training with educational games: a Minecraft Education game and a Knowledge Portal.
WISE-AI team at BRU-Iscte includes researcher Aristides Ferreira, research fellow Beatriz Saavedra, and project funding manager Mafalda Casais.
The newsletter is available in English and in Portuguese.
