The partners of the Erasmus AgroPro project met at CVTT-ISCTE to discuss the development of training materials and the set-up of an e-learning platform that will allow farmers to understand the benefits of drone use in agriculture.
This two-year project, coordinated by the Agricultural University of Athens and in Portugal by BRU-Iscte integrated researcher Sofia Kalakou, relates to drones, software, international legislation and regulations, mission planning, aerial imaging, and the creation of aerial surveying workflows. It will open new opportunities to farmers, who will also learn about drones as actuators for spraying and seeding.
