Andrew C. Hafenbrack started to work on 23rd April 2024 at BRU-Iscte.
He was selected for the Fulbright Award in Management and will stay with us for 4 months.
His Fulbright project will investigate the effect of short term rental platforms on the culture of Lisbon.
Project Title: “Digital Colonial(tour)ism and Mindfulness Intervention”
Andrew C. Hafenbrack is an Associate Professor of Management & Organization at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington in Seattle. He received his PhD from INSEAD in Singapore. He spent about eight months during the PhD program on the other INSEAD campus in Fontainebleau, France, and at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as part of the Wharton-INSEAD Alliance.His research focuses on Mindfulness Meditation, Cultural Psychology, Motivation and Performance, Prosocial Behavior and Deviance, Creativity and Innovation, Decision-Making and Inclusive Leadership.
