BRU-Iscte researcher Sandra Loureiro took part of the panel in the webinar: Tourism Review Celebrating World Tourism Day 2025: Tourism and Sustainable Transformation. The webinar was organized by EMERALD Publishing to discuss tourism and sustainability transformation in connection with the World Tourism Day 2025. With an audience of over 100 people from different countries, the webinar included a discussion about technological transformations (artificial intelligence and XR) and how tourism can embrace these technologies and become more sustainable. Topics relevant to future research were also discussed.
