The project HERE: Higher Education for Resilient Economy held two events at Iscte:

On April 16, the project hosted a Research Workshop under the theme Qualitative research to address grand challenges: Relational inclusion in the workplace, facilitated by Armand Bam, from Stellenbosch Business School (South Africa).

On April 17, the project hosted a Roundtable on AI in University Teaching, led by BRU-Iscte researcher Renato Pereira, together with Katarzyna Mroczek-Dąbrowska from Poznan University of Economics and Business (Poland), Armand Bam from Stellenbosch Business School (South Africa), and David Tsiklauri from Caucasus University (Georgia).

The project aims to develop durable solutions in the area of scientific, implementation, and teaching process cooperation, pursued within the framework of international academic partnerships – which includes Poznań University of Economics and Business (Poland), the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia), ESIC University (Spain), Pforzheim University (Germany), and Iscte (Portugal). This International Cooperation and Exchange initiative is funded by NAWA – the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The team at Iscte is led by Professor Renato Pereira(BRU-Iscte), and team members include PhD candidates Maria Luísa Chá-Chá and Marta Morgado Rosa (BRU-Iscte), as well as Guest Professor Govindraj Dempo, PhD Student William Opoku, and PhD Student Joshua Beynon.
