The European project TRANSFORM (The Future of Human Workforce: Embracing Change, Challenges, and Opportunities), coordinated by the University College Leuven-Limburg, will officially start in September 2024. A preparatory meeting with the consortium (9 partners from Belgium, Slovenia, Italy, Poland, Germany, Greece, Malta, Sweden, and Portugal) took place this week, on July 1, for the team to get to know each other and share expectations. BRU-Iscte is represented by researcher Sílvia Silva (local coordinator) and Maria João Velez.

TRANSFORM is a project approved within the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV) of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. The project aims to investigate the future of the human workforce, zooming in on critical aspects of its development such as the impact of technological advancements (automation, AI, robotics, etc.) from a human perspective.
