BRU-Iscte researcher Sophia Kalakou, coordinator of ImAFUSA, led the presentation and discussion of project ImAFUSA’s intermediate results at the review meeting held at SESAR JU headquarters last November 7. All consortium partners were involved in the meeting, responding to questions and suggestions from SESAR JU and Horizon Europe Programme Officers. From BRU, Helena Almeida and Margarida Santos (research assistants) and Sofia Samoili (Invited Assistant Researcher) attended the meeting as part of a team and presented the work of all the young researchers (Helena Almeida, Margarida Santos, Margarida Lopes, Francisco Aniceto and James Mcleod) while Nuno Silva coordinated the session being the Project Manager of the project. The thorough analysis of the project status included a detailed scientific appraisal of all work packages, methodology and deliverables, a prospective impact assessment and analysis of stakeholders’ engagement, and a review of the project’s financial and administrative performance. This was a key milestone for the project. The positive feedback received will fuel the upcoming months’ efforts to continue developing insights into the development of socially-acceptable Innovative Air Mobility Services (IAM) and contributing to the development of U-Space in Europe.
ImAFUSA is coordinated by BRU-Iscte. Sophia Kalakou from the Management Research Group is the principal investigator leading a team that includes other BRU-Iscte researchers: Catarina Marques from the Data Analytics Rsearch Group, João Guerreiro from the Marketing Research Group and Fernando Ferreira from the Management Research Group, and Sofia Samoili, Invited Assistant Researcher who has joined the team recently and also attended the review meeting.
