The Horizon Europe project CANDLE – National CAncer data Node DeveLopErs (Coordinated by Health-RI and Lygature, the Netherlands), is locally coordinated by BRU-Iscte researcher Henrique Martins, together with the team of the BRU Digital Health International competence centre (BRU_DHI). It aims to support policy dialogue activities, especially in connection with the European Health Data Space regulation, and to help European countries establish National Cancer Data Nodes (NCDNs) that manage and share cancer data in alignment with the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

Today the project began a 3-day annual meeting, hosted by Iscte, bringing together over 60 delegates from different countries in sharing, discussing, and learning activities on local and European cases, policy, and innovation.
