BRU-Iscte staff member, Cheila Ramalho, attended the INORMS 2025 Conference (International Network of Research Management Societies), which took place in Madrid from May 6 to 8, bringing together an impressive 2 200 research managers from around the world. INORMS 2025 was hosted by EARMA – the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators.

Cheila also presented during the EARMAimpact thematic group session, reporting on the work carried by its Working Group 4 – Evaluating & Evidencing Impact, of which she is a member. After this, each presenter in the session led a dynamic discussion to foster community building among participants, on how research impact activities are supported at the organisation level and what members could benefit from networking with other research impact professionals.

Cheila joined a Portuguese delegation of around 50 research managers, which actively contributed to the conference in more than 20 sessions.
