BRU-Iscte’s eHealth projects X-panDH, xShare and XiA have been recently referenced by the European Commission as key innovative projects supporting the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS). These projects have been promoted under BRU Digital Health International (BRUDHI) and the leadership of researcher Henrique Martins.
According to the European Commission, “these projects bring together diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers, researchers, and industry partners, to drive innovation and growth in the digital health sector. By developing and testing new tools and standards, these projects aim to create a seamless and secure environment for exchanging health data, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes.”. The aforementioned projects have been specifically recognised by their contribution in the primary use of health data.
