The International Conference on Computer Graphics and Interaction – ICGI 2025 took place at the Olga Cadaval Cultural Centre in Sintra on November 20 and 21, 2025. This was the thirty-first edition of the scientific event, organised by Iscte (Iscte Sintra, ISTAR-Iscte, and BRU-Iscte) and GPCGI (Eurographics Portuguese Chapter). The Organising Committee, chaired by Professor Miguel Sales Dias (ISTAR-Iscte), was assisted by BRU-Iscte researcher Tomás Alves, and PhD candidate Micaela Raposo (ISTAR-Iscte).
The conference brought together around 60 international researchers and academics working in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction and Immersive Environments and provided an opportunity to present completed or ongoing scientific work in these areas, as well as to exchange experiences between academic communities at European level.
During the conference, there were six parallel sessions dedicated to Cognitive Effects and Human Perception, Immersive Environments, Tools, Modelling in Computer Graphics, Interaction in Extended Reality and Interface Design, and Extended Reality Applications.
The articles resulting from the conference will be published in IEEE Explore, and three of the full articles presented at the conference will be published in a special edition of the journal Computers & Graphics – Recent Advances in Graphics and Interaction.
