BRU-Iscte was present at the European Researchers’ Night 2025 – with the theme Science for Global Challenges – with two activities:

  1. “Mundo Minecraft: WISE-AI” – a Minecraft game around the theme of Artificial Intelligence for audiences of 12-18 years and adults, promoted by BRU-Iscte researchers Aristides Ferreira and Beatriz Saavedra, with support from BRU-Iscte staff Mafalda Casais. This activity was presented under the Erasmus project WISE-AI: Fostering young women’s employability by promoting Sustainable Development Goals through Artificial Intelligence.
  2. “Plataformas Sociais de Realidade Virtual: O papel da solidão” – a hands-on activity promoted by BRU-Iscte researchers Mariana Berga Rodrigues and Sandra Loureiro, with support from BRU-IScte staff Cheila Ramalho. This activity was presented under the PhD project Consumer Adoption of Virtual Reality in the Motion Picture Industry.

The event took place on September 26, at the National Museum of Science & Natural History (Lisbon).
