Early-career researchers and BRU-Iscte PhD students can apply for up to €20,000 to develop innovative research projects. The second round for submission closes on November 15, 2026.

The BRU-Iscte Seed Funding aims to encourage the submission of innovative proposals from early-career researchers. It is open to integrated or associated members of BRU-Iscte who completed their PhD less than five years ago, and to students enrolled in one of BRU-Iscte’s doctoral programmes in Economics, Finance and Management.

The deadline for second-round submissions is November 15, 2026.
Two more rounds will follow, closing on June 15, 2027, and November 15, 2027.
