On 21 September BRU-Iscte held a Scientific Council plenary meeting which included the election of the BRU Scientific Committee. List A – Alexandra Ferreira Lopes, Ana Lúcia Martins, Ricardo Godinho Bilro, and Sandra Costa – was elected as the new Scientific Committee for the 2026–2030 term.

The innauguration took place on 16 October 2026, in Auditorium A302.
