The Erasmus project NATURE-FUTURES just held its kick-off meeting this month. The project aims to integrate Nature-Based Solutions and Citizen Science into higher education, enhancing sustainability education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and learning. It seeks to equip students and educators with practical tools, develop systemic thinking through digital models, and create strategic roadmaps for institutional adoption. The project fosters engagement with stakeholders, aligning universities with climate action and EU sustainability goals.

Coordinated by Aalborg University (Denmark), the partnership includes Iscte (Portugal), Columbus Association (France), and University of Turin (Italy).

BRU-Iscte researcher Catarina Roseta-Palma is part of the team.
