In a bid to equip the long-term unemployed with valuable skills for the modern workforce, the Portugal Living Lab has introduced a range of new training programs. These initiatives, part of the SYNCLUSIVE project, aim to provide participants with the tools and knowledge they need to re-enter the job market or even start their own businesses.

The Living Lab has launched courses in Python and Excel, two essential programming languages widely used in various industries. Additionally, participants can now learn 3D modeling and printing, skills that are increasingly in demand in fields like design, engineering, and manufacturing.

To further empower individuals and encourage entrepreneurship, the Living Lab is also offering training in business plan development. This course equips participants with the necessary skills to create and manage their own companies effectively, providing them with a pathway to financial independence.

These new training programs are part of the SYNCLUSIVE project, which aims to promote social inclusion and economic development. By providing the long-term unemployed with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, the Portugal Living Lab is making a significant contribution to the region’s economic growth and social well-being.
