We are pleased to announce that YODA – Your Own Developmental Agent research project, led by BRU-Iscte, has launched its website.

The project is developing an AI agent trained to analyse video, audio and text from team interactions to extract relevant patterns of interpersonal processes (e.g., escalation of conflict, negative affective climate), and to provide evidence-based feedback to the team about those processes, helping team members anticipate relevant interpersonal hurdles and react appropriately to maintain good interpersonal relationships in the team, one of the fundamentals of team effectiveness and performance.

YODA is led by BRU-Iscte researcher Patrícia Costa, with Pedro Quinteiro (Universidade Lusófona) as co-principal investigator. The team also includes researchers Fernando Batista (Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa) and Ricardo Ribeiro (Iscte/INESC-ID), Alberto Abad (INESC-ID) and Rui Silva, who joins the project on behalf of industry partner Critical Software.

The project is a partnership between BRU-Iscte, INESC-ID Lisboa, CETRAD and Critical Software, and is funded by FCT and Lisboa 2030 (LISBOA2030-FEDER-00882900).
