On 20th October, the BRU-Iscte organized a workshop on How to progress your research towards societal change, with the participation of BRU-Iscte Researchers.
The researchers were challenged to developed a plan to progress their research towards contributing to positive societal change. During the workshop the researchers worked through a series of tasks to identify the potential beneficiaries of their research and the agents of change (collaborators and partners) they will need to engage with to facilitate the journey towards impact. The researchers also reflected on who they would want to work with and on the practical and epistemological challenges of impact engagement.
The workshop was hosted by Saskia Walcott, the Chief Executive of WCL, a specialist research impact consultancy based in the UK.
