BRU-Iscte participated in the kick-off meeting of the Interreg-Med project SMITour. BRU’s integrated researcher, Álvaro Dias, had an active role in the meeting and associated stakeholder workshop organized by the coordinator, the Municipality of Prato, Italy. Álvaro Dias presented the project’s strategy for data collection for industrial tourism case studies and the industrial tourism country surveys. Maria José Sousa, BRU integrated researcher, is also part of the local team.
Over the next three years, the project working groups, involving 4helix stakeholders, will explore industrial tourism and related advanced technologies applications.
