The European project INITIATE held a General Assembly between October 23 and 25, 2024, at Iscte, in Lisbon, hosted by local coordinator Paula Vicente (BRU-Iscte), together with Elizabeth Reis (BRU-Iscte), Florinda Matos (Dinâmia’CET-Iscte), Evaldo Costa (Dinâmia’CET), and Pedro Ramos (ISTAR-Iscte). The 3-day event was the ideal forum for consortium partners and stakeholders to discuss the project’s ongoing progress and future aims. The occasion fostered new collaborations aimed at advancing the project’s mission to empower higher education institutions to develop R&I through institution transformation.

BRU-Iscte Director Fátima Salgueiro welcomed the consortium to Iscte and gave a presentation about the University and the Research Unit.

During the event, consortium members had the opportunity to visit several key research and knowledge transfer structures at Iscte, including AUDAX-Iscte, several Iscte laboratories, and the newly established Iscte-Knowledge and Innovation Center.

The final day had the presence of E-REDES and Rede do Empresário as part of the workshop Collaboration Strategies and Policy Frameworks for R&I in HEI.
