The joint conference Shaping the Future of Data, Knowledge and Innovation with AI for Global Sustainable Change (https://gfic.icaa.pt/gfic-2025/), which will be held at Iscte between November 27-28, 2025, under the theme of Knowledge and Data Management in the context of AI and Sustainability, has a call for papers (more information) open until April 15.
BRU-Iscte will be involved through its project INITIATE, as one of the sponsors of the Roundtable Data-Powered Business Innovation Models (https://gfic.icaa.pt/en/gfic-2025-agenda/). The roundtable will serve as a discussion about the newly created Business Analytics & Data Science Lab, which originated from the efforts to empower higher education institutions to develop R&I through institution transformation. BRU-Iscte’s researcher Paula Vicente is the project’s local coordinator and Elizabeth Reis is part of the team.
