On 28 June 2024, the BRU-Iscte International Scientific Advisory Board met at Iscte. This was the first in-person meeting of the new Board, attended by Jacqueline Coyle-Shapiro, Maurizio Zollo, Simon Wolfe and Stephen Hall. The day began with a welcome session for researchers hosted by the Director, Maria de Fátima Salgueiro, with the IBS Dean, Maria João Cortinhal, and continued with meetings with the Scientific Committee, group coordinators and Directive Board on the unit’s strategy, a visit to the new Iscte Knowledge and Innovation (CVTT) facilities, and the Board’s feedback.
