BRU-Iscte Research Managers Mafalda Casais, Nuno Silva, and Cheila Ramalho were part of the Iscte team at the EARMA (European Association of Research Managers and Administrators) 2026 conference in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The conference was hosted by ARMA – NL between 5 and 7 May, and welcomed over 1,800 people during 3 intense knowledge-sharing days, including 54 Portuguese Research Managers from several institutions.
A great opportunity for learning, sharing, and networking with the aim of advancing the RM profession and it’s ability to support robust and impactful research.
Also joining from Iscte were Research Managers Mariana Leite Braga, Maria João Machado, and Patrícia Salgueiro.
Cheila is part of the EARMAimpact Thematic Group, and gave a presentation on May 6, together with other group members.
